Big Bedding Plant Sale 2026

Dear Customer,

17th Barrow Scout Group are once again taking orders for bedding plants to raise funds to bring #SkillsForLife to our young people and to help with the maintenance costs and improvements to the hut, grounds, equipment, and minibus. With your help, proceeds from the plant sale can also help to fund interesting and exciting activities, challenges and learning experiences to our Scouts (11+), Cubs (8+) and Beavers (6+)

So to everyone that is a regular or new customer, we would like to say a really BIG THANK YOU!

There have been a few changes to quantities and plants on offer, and a handful of price increases, but the bulk of the prices are unchanged from last year!

The group is always looking to expand its team of helpers and leaders. If you or someone you know likes the idea of getting involved with one of the age groups, please contact us by any method below for more information. Take a look at our volunteers page for more information about volunteering, the rewards and how there will be a role to fit your interest, and however much time you are comfortable to offer..

The plants are grown by a new firm of professional growers this year, and offer a wider range of high quality plants.

We are selling packs as supplied by the grower:

• Ageratum, Alyssum, Antirrinum, Begonia Sempeflorens, Cineraria, Cosmos, Dahlia, Marigold, Geranium, Impatiens (Busy Lizzie), Mesembryanthemum (Ice Plant), Lobelia, Nicotiana, Pansy, Petunia, Stocks, Verbena, Viola
  4 or 6 plants @ £3.30 per pack [see Printable Form for qty per pack and colour]
• Begonia Nonstop – in 11cm pot @ £1.90 each plant
• Sweet Peas (9cm square pot of approx. 10 plants) @ £1.90 per pot.
• Basket Kits @ £5.50 each.

Note: Extra information about most of the plants from last year’s plant tags is available on the web form however we would like to make you aware that the photographs are of previous supplier products. The plant care information should still hopefully be similar / representative of the plant care labels for the new supplier.

Data Protection: Your details will be used for the purposes of the Plant Sale only.

Orders: must be received by no later than Monday 13th April 2026 for the grower to be able to meet the order.

Payment: There are options to pay by PayPal or card in advance, or by cheque or by cash on on collection / delivery.
Note: For the PayPal / Card option, please provide your email address and/or mobile phone number so that a payment link can be sent to you. Alternatively to pay by cheque, please make it payable to 17th Barrow (St. Perran’s) Scout Group.

Plants Ready on Saturday 23rd May 2026:

Collection: from the Scout Hut: 09:00 – 17:00 on Saturday 23rd May 2023.
Delivery: will take place during the daytime on Saturday 23rd May for a modest delivery fee (£5). Please let us know a time window that suits you, nearer to collection day.
