17th Barrow (St Perrans) Scout Group have not let a small thing like a world wide lockdown stop them put the ‘out’ in Scouting
On 31st April 2020 the whole group took part in a successful world record attempt to have the biggest virtual camp (over 93 000 people took part), and then followed that with a group camp from 1st to 2nd May.

Coronovirus Update #2
Dear Parents/Carers/Beavers/Cubs/Scouts,
Wow, what a difference a week makes. These are different and challenging times. We’re absolutely devastated that we have had to curtail face to face meetings with such abruptness. However, as described in the email from our Chief Commissioner, these are not choices that have been made lightly and they are for all our and our families’ benefit.
We hope that you and your families are not too adversely affected by the virus and should you catch it, the impact is minimal.

At cubs on Tuesday we talked about the astronaut Tim Peake, and the International Space Station.  This week, the ISS is visible for a few minutes in the early mornings, so if you look to the south at breakfast time and the sky is clear, you have a good chance of seeing it!
